Advancing
(...) sometimes it’s nice to listen to chords that must be in a certain order, because they have a direction and seem to be going somewhere. They can have equality too, and even if the possibilities are headed toward infinity, the chord list can be complete up to the point where it stops. A directional progression can start to sound like Beethoven, invincible, ever progressing, ever marching on to some inevitable goal, but maybe a bit of that is ok, even in the twenty-first century. How does one do it?
